GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

PLEASE READ THESE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING AND USING THIS SERVICE, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT. IN ADDITION, WHEN USING THESE SERVICES, YOU SHALL BE SUBJECT TO ANY POSTED GUIDELINES OR RULES APPLICABLE TO SUCH SERVICES. ANY PARTICIPATION IN THIS SERVICE WILL CONSTITUTE ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE ABOVE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

COPYRIGHT IN THE PAGES AND IN THE SCREENS DISPLAYING THE PAGES, AND IN THE INFORMATION AND MATERIAL THEREIN AND IN THEIR ARRANGEMENT, IS OWNED BY AIRDROP PTE. LTD. UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED.


1. DEFINITIONS
1.1 In these General Terms and Conditions, the following words and expressions shall have the following meanings:

"ICT" means In-camp training, in which every national service work year, you may be called up to a maximum of 40 days of operationally ready national service.
"Subscription Period" means the stipulated period of the Service from the sign-up date until its end date usually one (1) year unless otherwise stated; this is also the period given for clients to utilised the package given.
"Inventory Check" means the inspection to verify shortages or damaged items (if any) that does not meet SAF Standard, in which, Airdrop will conduct the equipment inspection back at her warehouse and generate an Inventory Report within twenty-four (24) hours;
“Inventory Report” means a generated report from the Inventory Check; 
 "Account" means any account of a Customer with Airdrop with respect to the provision of the Service;
"Bill" means any bill, invoice or statement issued or rendered by Airdrop of any charge, fee or other sum stated therein as due or payable to Airdrop and/or of the sum or sums or balance due or payable to or from Airdrop in respect of any Service or on any Account;
"Billing and Payment Terms" means the terms and conditions by or subject to which the Fees and Charges become due and payable or governing matters related to Bills, as determined by the Service Provider from time to time;
“Equipment" means the clients’ personal military issued equipment and it must come in a form of one (1) single *SAF duffel bag or a bag equivalent to *its size.
"Customer Agreement" means an agreement between the Service Provider and the Customer relating to any Service including these Terms and Conditions, Airdrop Pte. Ltd. Privacy Data Protection Policy and the Specific Terms, if any, relating thereto;
"Customer Information" means, in relation to a Customer, all information which Airdrop obtains as a result of such Customer's use of a Service provided by Airdrop or in connection with the contract or agreement between that Customer and Airdrop, including any information (including opinions) which identifies or which relates to an individual, whether true or not, and any information of a Customer collected, used or disclosed as described in Airdrop Data Protection Policy;
Customer Request" means any request, order or instruction of the Customer to Airdrop (whether with respect to any Service or otherwise);
"Customer" means the user of the Services;
"eBill" means the Electronic Bill Presentation and Payment service operated by Airdrop;
"Fees and Charges" means fees and/or charges in connection with the provision of any Service;
"General Terms" means these General Terms and Conditions;
"Law" means the laws of the Republic of Singapore;
"Pre-Paid Fees" means monies paid into an Account and credited to a Customer, from which Fees and Charges are deducted at the time of accrual without the issue of any Bill relating to those Fees and Charges;
"Service" means courier, cleaning and other services (including the re-supply, storage of any equipment and any service comprised in any Customer Request) offered or provided by Airdrop from time to time;
"Airdrop" means Airdrop Pte. Ltd. and its successors;
"Airdrop Pte. Ltd. Data Protection Policy" means the current version of the data protection policy available at and end of this terms and condition;
"Specific Terms"

means the terms and conditions prescribed or imposed by Airdrop with respect to the provision of any particular Service, including the specific terms and conditions agreed between the Customer and Airdrop in connection with any application or subscription by that Customer for that Service;
"Taxes"
means all taxes (including goods and services taxes), duties, levies, and other similar charges (and any related interest and penalties) however designated, imposed under any Law or the law of any jurisdiction outside Singapore with respect to the provision of any Services or on any Fees and Charges or payment due or payable to Airdrop from the Customer;

“One (1) Week” means seven (7) days, including weekends and public holidays;

 

2 EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
2.1 In no event, to the extent permitted by law, will Airdrop be liable to the other Party in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty) or for any damages, including without limitation direct or indirect, special, incidental, or consequential, collateral, or incidental losses and expenses incurred by the other Party in connection with or arising from any Service whether during or after the term of the provision of the Service. For the purposes of these General Terms & Conditions and the Service Terms & Conditions, indirect or consequential loss or damage includes, without limitation, loss of revenue, profits, anticipated savings or business, loss of data or goodwill, loss of use or value of any equipment including software, claims of third parties, and all associated and incidental costs and expenses.


3 CUSTOMER’S OBLIGATIONS
3.1 The Customer shall ensure that any information posted or permitted or caused to be posted by the Customer is true and accurate and shall be solely responsible for the contents therein.
3.2 The Customer shall ensure that their equipment handed over are stored in an SAF issued duffel bag.
3.3 The Customer shall agree that verification of the handed over items will only be done at Airdrop’s Office thereafter an inventory list of the items handed over and any faulty equipment found will be recorded. Airdrop is not liable for any loss or damages found on the generated inventory report or before the report is generated.


4 PAYMENT
4.1 The Customer shall pay Airdrop without demand or invoice and free of any deductions or withholdings whatsoever the amount in accordance with the terms and conditions for payment specified in the web pages of the specific Services and subsequent payment to be paid on the corresponding day of every succeeding calendar year.
4.2 Customer shall be deemed to have repudiated this Service if payment remains unpaid for more than seven (7) days after becoming due. 
4.3 Payment made by Cheque should be crossed and made payable to Airdrop Pte. Ltd.


5 REFUND POLICY
5.1 The Customer shall have no right to any refund for payment made for the Service once Airdrop has started to process the Services for the customer.


6 RECEIPT OF PAYMENT
6.1 Airdrop shall not be required to supply any receipt for payments made by the Customer to Airdrop through the Services or by electronic means.


7 GOODS AND SERVICE TAX
7.1 Customer shall pay to Airdrop a sum equal to the prevailing GST chargeable (where applicable) on the provision to the Customer of any Service by Airdrop in accordance with these General Terms & Conditions and/or Service Terms & Conditions.


8 RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
8.1 Airdrop shall take all reasonable precaution to prevent unauthorized persons from having access to the articles(s) or their contents and shall also take all reasonable precaution against loss of or damage to the same or their contents.
8.2 Airdrop shall take all reasonable means to meet stipulated collection and delivery time except in an event of unforeseen circumstances or situation caused by natural disaster.

 

9 SERVICE CLAUSE
9.1 Duffel-drop package service agreement
9.1.1 Duffel-drop collection and delivery
9.1.1.1 Airdrop hold all rights to her modus operandi relating to this Service.
9.1.1.2 An appointment will be set to collect the items from the Customer upon Customers’ confirmation, in the event of a failed collection due to Customers’ unavailability, an admin charge will be imposed.
9.1.1.3 The package is limited to one SAF standard issued duffel bag or a single bag equivalent to its size.
9.1.1.4 Customers are advised to keep one set of uniforms, combat boots and headdress with them while utilizing this Service.
9.1.1.5 Duffel-drop provides the customer with one (1) pre-arranged pick up and one (1) drop off for in-camp training purpose. Customers are to advise/inform Airdrop of their next ICT date, time and location for drop-off at least one (1) week in advance.
9.1.1.6 Duffel-drop provides the customer with one (1) mobilization standby drop off and one (1) pick up thereafter to/from their mobilization centre.
9.1.1.7 Services provided are limited for a period of one (1) year. Services not utilized after the subscription period will be forfeited.
9.1.2 Duffel-drop Washing service
9.1.2.1 Duffel-drop provides the customer with one (1) full wash of all uniforms, PT kits, socks and undergarments found during the time of inventory check.
9.1.2.2 Duffel-drop service includes sanitization of all other equipment including boots polishing service.
9.1.2.3 After utilizing the package of one (1) full wash, any additional request for wash will be charged at Singapore Dollars: Ten (SGD $10/-) per wash on top of the package price. 
9.1.3 Duffel-drop replenishment and packing service
9.1.3.1 Field packs will be packed in accordance with SAF’s standard as per the NS Portal unless otherwise requested. 
9.1.3.2 Customer must furnish a packing list to Airdrop at the point of collection should there be a special packing requirement (i.e. in accordance with unit’s standard).
9.1.3.3 Customer will be notified should there be any missing or damaged items, thereafter a list of items needed for replacement will be generated. The customer is to confirm with Airdrop within one (1) day to facilitate the packing of their equipment to be ready for operations. 
9.1.3.4 If the replacement items are available, the order must be placed and purchased through Airdrop replenishment service, Airdrop will inform Customer in an event that the items are not available.
9.1.3.5 Additional charges will be imposed for tailoring of uniforms and sewing of any patches.
9.1.3.6 Airdrop packing service is packed according to the availability of the item handed over.
9.1.3.7 The equipment will be readied within fourteen (14) days upon Customer’s confirmation as per Clause 9.1.3.3.
9.1.4 Duffel-drop storage service
9.1.4.1 Location of storage space is strictly confidential for security reasons. 
9.1.4.2 Storage of Customer items is kept in accordance with the usage of service within the period of one (1) year.
9.1.4.3 Any bags not claimed within three (3) months after the subscription period will be returned to relevant authorities, late charges and storage fees will be charged on a daily basis.
9.1.4.4 Utilisation of storage is for a period of one (1) year from the date of subscription or when the services in the package have been used up. Whichever earlier.
9.1.5 Duffel-drop mobilization service
9.1.5.1 One (1) Ad-Hoc delivery and one (1) collection is entitled per package.
9.1.5.2 Customer must inform Airdrop during collection if they or their unit is on Standby period and you wish to purchase the add on express service. If the equipment is already collected, Customer must inform Airdrop the moment they learn that they are on Standby. 
9.1.5.3 Customer are to inform us as soon as they are activated
9.1.5.4 Equipment will be delivered to Customer’s stipulated reporting venue by M+3. (Three (3) hours from time of our activation)
9.1.5.5 Equipment will be collected and dropped at the same venue.
9.1.5.6 Customer must separate the items for washing if partial washing is required. 
9.1.5.7 No refund will be given if for any reason this particular service is not utilized by the end of the subscription period.

9.1.5.8 This service is not to be mixed up and used as normal collection and delivery, in an event activation for collection and delivery is not due to official MINDEF mobilisation an admin charge of Singapore dollars: Seventy (SGD $70) will apply.

 


10 GENERAL
10.1 Airdrop may, without giving prior notice, modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time. In the event that any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be posted on her Facebook page. Please check the latest information posted herein to inform yourself of any changes.
10.2 Airdrop reserves the right to alter any of her packages at any time without prior notice.
10.3 All packages purchased must be utilised within the stipulated subscription period, any unused packages will be duly forfeited.
10.4 Late payment charges are calculated based on zero-point-zero-five percent (0.05%) of the total amount owed per day until payment is received.
10.5 In an event of Late payment storage charges of Singapore Dollars: Four (SGD $4/-) will be imposed on a daily basis until the bag is reclaimed or payment received for package renewal. 
10.6 Customer will be notified one (1) week before the renewal due date, a grace period of seven (7) days will be extended, if payment is made within the grace period, all late charges and storage fees will be automatically waived.
10.7 The customer is to ensure that equipment is free from any form of pyrotechnics or any illegal items. Any pyrotechnics or illegal items found will be reported and handed over to the relevant authorities.

10.8      Airdrop Pte. Ltd. reserves all rights to refuse/terminate service at any given time to anyone without prior notice or reasons.

10.9      Additional services will be charged as such:

             10.9.1      Additional delivery/collection will be charged at Singapore dollars thirty-seven point five (SGD $37.5/-) per trip.

             10.9.2      Additional wash and repacking will be charged at Singapore dollars fifteen (SGD $15/-).

 


11 GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
11.1 These terms of use shall be governed and construed in accordance with laws of the Republic of Singapore and the courts of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction in any case of dispute.
